Beware of SkyWest Management’s Anti-Union Campaign

SkyWest management has been spreading misinformation, telling flight attendants that discussions about unionization or the distribution of union materials in crew areas are not allowed. However, they contradict themselves by hosting events in these same areas through the SkyWest Inflight Association (SIA), where they offer food and distribute literature against union efforts.

Furthermore, management has strategically placed anti-union posters and literature, filled with inaccuracies, in areas where we work and gather, aiming to discourage us from even considering unionization.

During mandatory safety training, where the focus should be exclusively on our critical safety roles, management has instead introduced anti-union messages, distracting from the vital purpose of these sessions.

Disturbingly, there have been reports of management calling on airport security to intimidate flight attendants engaged in private discussions about unionizing, threatening their right to even be at the airport.

This aggressive campaign against our right to organize and seek better working conditions is not just misleading but directly interferes with our legal rights. Stay informed, question the narratives presented by management, and remember: unity and informed discussion among us are our greatest strengths.
